One thing I've learned through art, throughout my life, is how to make an "accident" a little more beautiful through intention.
Sometimes, when a pot flops on the wheel, you have to let it go, and re-use the clay for something else. Other times, you can curl the edges down to give them a sculptural shape, and add a branch and leaves to make the whole piece look more organic and inspired by nature.
I was pretty happy with the results of my choice this time around - the interior has an almost watery-blue color to accent the earthen look of the exterior. You could use it as a decorative piece, display small flowers in it, serve small side dishes from it, or stash your keys and wallet in this lovely little vessel.
