The dragonfly represents the dramatic transformations we all experience throughout our lives. For dragonflies, metamorphosis occurs somewhat late in life - something I can relate to, having become a mom just as I was turning 39.

What has followed in the years since, has been a wrestling of sorts with who I am now, and what is expected of me - but I'm lucky in that it has also offered me opportunities to return to the inner creative spirit that I had long ago set aside. If not for my son, the Dragonfly Den collection of pottery - and so much else - would likely not exist.

Home Decor - A few of my favorite things, to add a little extra coziness to any space throughout your home.

Kitchen - Find functional pottery to bring a little extra joy to your cooking. All items are dishwasher-, oven-, and microwave-safe unless otherwise noted. Handwashing can extend the life of your dishes by minimizing the risk of being bumped into other dishes, but it's not required.

Seconds
- Pottery is a lengthy process! Making, drying, handcarving/trimming, drying some more, firing, glazing, and re-firing can take as much as a couple of months, depending on scheduling and timing of all the steps. Even the weather can affect drying speed for the clay. It's my goal to re-stock about every 2-3 months. So check back regularly, and mark your calendar for my next drop! I'll post the date as soon as I can. And remember - every item is entirely handmade. No molds, no duplicates. Every piece is truly unique in one way or another, even if the glazes used are the same. So when you see something you love - or that you think a loved one will enjoy - go ahead and grab it when you can!
